If you have your heart set on a Samsung Smart Phone, there are quite a few to choose from. The newest and priciest option is the Samsung Epic 4g.It has a super AMOLED display, 16GHz processor, 5 megapixel camera with LED flash, and supports Sprint’s WiMax network. This phone can serve as a Wi-Fi hotspot for up to five devices. It is the largest and most expensive of the Samsung Smart Phones, but you if want the latest and the greatest, you’ll probably want this one. Obviously it will be less expensive if you purchase it with a 2 year plan. It gets high marks from users and the only complaints seem to relate to the costly data plan.

The Samsung Flip phone is a popular model. The clam shell design is said to be based on the Star Trek “Communicator.” These phones are small and light to fit easily into a pocket. The clamshell closure prevents unwanted key presses when the phone is not in use. The Samsung Hue wins first place in the flip phone category, followed closely by the Muse and the Smooth. They all have Bluetooth capability, cameras, a good memory and support for memory expansion cards. All have internal antennas and external screens.

In the coming soon category, Samsung has the Galaxy S. It is not available yet, but soon will be. This is an Android Smart Phone with 1GHz processor for better browsing, multi tasking, and graphics. The 4” AMOLED display will provide high quality video with a 20% increase in brightness, 80% less refection, and a 20% increase n battery life. By collaborating with partners, the Samsung Galaxy S Smart Phone will provide full length movies, TV shows, books, and magazines. In addition you will get daily updates on news, weather, stocks, traffic, and scheduling. The home cradle allows use as a digital picture frame, clock, calendar, and music station. I know you want it, but all Samsung will say is “coming soon.”

There are lots of other Samsung Smart Phones on the market. You can purchase them along with your calling plan directly from major carriers like Sprint, T-Mobile, and AT&T. They are also available online and from most retailers like Best Buy, Radio Shack, or even Wal-Mart. They come at a lot of price points so you can likely find a Samsung Smart Phone to suit your use and price range.
