Cell Phones Online

As I have gotten older, I love online shopping. I used to enjoy going from store to store to get a good deal, but now I love to see the UPS truck. You can get just about anything online. I think it is a great way to check out prices without running all over the place. Purchasing cell phones online is a really good example of this. Where else can you compare plans side by side without going to multiple dealers? The graphics and videos give you a look at your new phone and its features so you can see what you’re getting.

Quite honestly I think very often you will get a better price because there is no physical store to deal with. Every manufacturer has a significant web presence so your choices are certainly not limited. In fact, I think there is more variety than a single store can provide. You can not only buy phones, you can shop for a plan to suit your needs. You can buy any kind of software or accessory you could want as well. It is estimated that the average cost savings is around 70% when you buy cell phones online.

You can certainly check the websites for the major carriers like T-Mobile, Sprint, or AT&T, but naturally their information is slanted towards their particular offerings. There are sites like myrateplan.com or LetsTalk.com that have you enter you zip code and then filter the results depending on what features you are looking for in a cell phone or calling plan. The only problem is for instant gratification junkies. These are the people who have to have the newest thing right now. They stand in line for hours to get a newly released product and are unwilling to wait a couple of days to get a better price. I would rather pay for overnight shipping than wait in line any day and many places offer free standard shipping if you are willing to wait a few days.

I have noticed lately that many cell phones carriers don’t have large stores. There are often kiosks inside of malls or stores like Wal-Mart or wholesale clubs. If you must have the phone in your hands to make a decision, go to a store and check it out for yourself. You can always order it online once you have made a decision and likely get a better price. I think that purchasing cell phones online makes a lot of sense.
